Due to recent unforeseen events, it is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we must announce the closing of Rainbow Grill on Chicago Drive in downtown Grandville.

We’d like to thank our amazing community for the support of the business for so many years and our incredible staff for their dedication to the guests we love.

Following the recent flooding that kept us from safely operating for over a week, we determined that the amount of capital required to repair and remodel the building to an acceptable standard of safety and comfort was too cost prohibitive to move forward - whether that meant extending our lease beyond its June deadline or purchasing the building.

We have been truly touched by the outpouring of memories and kind words shared about Rainbow Grill. While we are saddened that one of our favorite community gathering places will not be open at this time, we are evaluating options for the future, including alternative locations or a potential redevelopment of the site.

We are grateful to have been able to offer positions to our wonderful staff at affiliated locations throughout the greater Grand Rapids area, where Rainbow Grill gift cards will also be honored. Those locations can be found at www.4gr8food.com. 

Serving this community and the friendships formed over the years has been an incredible honor, and we look forward to seeing you again.
